Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) based Tactical Medical Course for all law enforcement officers. Students will focus on life saving care for traumatic injuries in the field. Officers respond to a variety of calls from traffic accidents to shootings/stabbings to mass casualty events typically making them the first on scene. This course provides the tools needed to provide immediate trauma care when seconds count, including to save their own lives. Students will receive a trauma kit as part of the course. Agencies looking to host this course will receive two free spots. For Texas Agencies: This course may be eligible for TCOLE credit.
