FLETC Tactical Medical Course: Life-Saving Skills for Law Enforcement

In high-risk environments, law enforcement officers are often the first on scene, responding to everything from traffic accidents and violent assaults to mass casualty incidents. This FLETC-based Tactical Medical Course equips officers with the critical skills needed to provide life-saving trauma care in the field—both for others and themselves.

Course Focus:

Rapid assessment and treatment of traumatic injuries
 - Control of severe bleeding using tourniquets and wound packing
 - Airway management and trauma response under stress
 - Self-aid and buddy-aid techniques for officer survival
 - Triage and care in mass casualty incidents

Students will leave this course with hands-on medical training, greater confidence in emergency response, and a trauma kit to carry in the field. When seconds count, the right skills save lives.Agencies looking to host this course will receive two free spots. For Texas Agencies: This course may be eligible for TCOLE credit.
